This is a bothersome bug that’s cropped up a few times. I keep thinking I fixed it but inevitably someone runs into it again.

This is caused by the game’s persistent navigation save data getting in an odd state, and it could happen for a number of reasons.

I’m still trying to squash this annoying little bugger permanently, but if anyone runs into it, this will usually fix the issue!

On the Settings screen, click the ‘Reset Nav’ button as shown below. Nothing will happen visually when you click it, it’s doing some code magic behind the scenes. Return to where you were and try to hit the play button again, it should work at this point.
